What we collect
- Account data: your name and mobile number, verified with a one-time code sent by SMS. (Older accounts may have an email address and a salted hash of the password instead; we never store the password itself.)
- Subscription data: your plan and payment status (card and UPI details are handled by the payment provider, not stored by us).
- Usage data: pages and features used, strategies you analyse, your token balance and token history, and basic device/log information, to run and improve the service.
- What you type into AI features: Winsti questions and chats, fund-screen and idea-builder descriptions.
How we use it
To provide the service, secure your account, process subscriptions, send service messages and improve the product. We do not sell personal data.
AI processing
To generate explanations, computed market analytics and the text you type into AI features are sent to an AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic) acting as our processor. Don’t include personal or financial details in that text. AI outputs are logged, without your name or contact details, so we can review them for accuracy and compliance.
Service providers
Supabase (accounts and data storage), MSG91 (sending sign-in codes by SMS), OpenAI / Anthropic (AI text), and Google Ad Manager (rewarded ads, only when you choose to watch one — Google may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure the ad). Market data comes from Upstox, Alpha Vantage and AMFI; no personal data is sent to them.
Cookies
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in, and local storage for preferences such as theme and last-viewed symbol.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal data, and withdraw consent. Contact our Grievance Officer at [email] — [name, address].
Retention and security
We keep account data while your account is active and delete it within [N] days of closure, except where the law requires longer retention.
